Our agency focuses on a person centered philosophy that promotes values in how services are communicated to our contract partner Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency by following the guidelines and regulations set forth by the State of Georgia. These guidelines are communicated during person served orientation, services delivered, initial service plans, monthly reports, case notes, and pre and post surveys.
Our Work Ready Program assists individuals with disabilities who are eligible for Vocational Rehabilitation services; and students who are in need of alternative community based services. The objective of our program is as follow: engage employers to customize career pathways; employ person served participation through family involvement; and enter into community partnerships.
We are also a Customized Employment Certificate Program. We have been approved by the Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators (ACRE). This certificate include courses that can be used by organizations or staff who are providing assistance to people with disabilities, those recovering from mental illness, or anyone else who needs assistance in finding employment. The courses are designed to provide tools for supporting people to create career opportunities.
